Role Overview:
As a Virgin Atlantic pilot, you will contribute to our mission of becoming the world’s most loved travel company, operating flights from Heathrow to prestigious global destinations. You will demonstrate exceptional aircraft handling skills, extensive procedural and technical knowledge, and strong leadership qualities, ensuring consistently excellent operational performance while upholding the highest safety standards. You will be a key player in delivering exceptional customer journeys and making value-based decisions both in-flight and on the ground.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate superior aircraft handling proficiency and technical expertise.
- Exhibit strong leadership, teamwork, and exceptional human factors skills.
- Ensure consistent operational excellence, adhering to stringent safety protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient flight operation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1500 hours (FO) / 3000 hours (SFO) flight time on a multi-pilot turbojet or multi-pilot turboprop aircraft (minimum 10-tonne MTOW or seating configuration exceeding 19 passengers).
- Current and qualified on A320, A330, or A350 aircraft.
- Current UK Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Unfrozen ATPL licence issued by the UK CAA, with a valid type rating.
- ICAO Level 6 English language proficiency certification.
