First Officer/Senior First Officer - Airbus

Virgin Atlantic Airways is seeking highly motivated and skilled First Officers and Senior First Officers to join its dynamic flight operations team based at London Heathrow. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional aircraft handling abilities, comprehensive procedural and technical knowledge, strong leadership qualities, and outstanding human factors skills. He or she will contribute to providing passengers with an exceptional journey, upholding the highest safety standards, and embodying the airline's values in the air and on the ground.

• Demonstrate excellent aircraft handling ability.
• Maintain extensive procedural and technical knowledge.
• Exhibit strong leadership and outstanding human factors skills.
• Provide passengers with an exceptional journey.
• Deliver consistent operational excellence while maintaining high safety standards.
• Lead operations and make values-based decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1500 hours (FO) / 3000 hours (SFO) of flight time on a multi-pilot turbojet or a multi-pilot turbo-prop aeroplane, having a maximum take-off mass of not less than 10 tonnes or a certificated passenger seating configuration of more than 19 passengers.
• Current and qualified on the A320, A330, or A350.
• Hold a current UK Class One Medical.
• Unfrozen ATPL licence issued by the UK CAA, with a valid type rating.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English (certified as ICAO level 6 English Proficiency).
