Requirements
Successful candidates for a Pilot position at BA Euroflyer are expected to meet the following criteria:
- Hold a current UK issued CAA Flight Crew Licence (ATPL(A), fATPL(A), MPL) or an EASA licence meeting the UK CAA’s “Third Country CPL and ATPL licence conversion requirements” (route 3, 4, 5 or 6).
- Possess a minimum of 3500 total flying hours on a CS25 aircraft.
- Possess a minimum of 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on a CS25 aircraft.
- Hold the right to live and work in the UK or possess the ability to obtain a Right to Work (RTW) visa.
- Meet height requirements between 1.57m (5’2”) and 1.91m (6’3”). Pilots exceeding 1.91m may apply but must pass a functionality check to confirm compatibility with seating positions in the BA Euroflyer fleet.
- Maintain a good level of physical fitness.
- Demonstrate spoken and written English proficiency at ICAO level 6.
- Hold a valid passport with a minimum of 12 months remaining before expiry.
- Possess a valid Class One Medical Certificate with a minimum of 6 months validity from the potential contract start date.
Pilots holding an EASA licence who previously held a UK Part-FCL licence should upload a copy of their previous UK licence or proof of completing training and being awarded a UK licence in the supporting files section of the application.
Important Information
- Candidates unsuccessful at the initial screening, video interview, capacity testing, or assessment centre stages may reapply for the pilot recruitment campaign after 6 months from their most recent assessment date. Candidates unsuccessful at the simulator stage must wait 12 months before reapplying.
- Candidates may only apply to one airline within the British Airways family (British Airways, Euroflyer, or Cityflyer) at a time. Unsuccessful candidates in one campaign are ineligible to reapply to any of the three airlines until the specified re-application period has concluded.
- Suitability for long-haul operations will be evaluated during the simulator assessment. It is noted that a limited number of long-haul positions are available, and the A320 fleet remains the primary recruiting platform.
- Successful candidates will be placed into a hold pool. Candidates in the hold pool may receive a maximum of 2 job offers. Declining a second job offer will result in exiting the hold pool, requiring re-application after 12 months and completion of the full selection process.
