Qualifications and Key Criteria
Prospective candidates must meet the following essential requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.
- Ability to apply for and obtain relevant US immigration/entry visas, which is a mandatory pre-requisite for roles involving travel to/from the United States.
- Possession of a valid passport permitting unrestricted worldwide travel.
- Capability to report for duty within 120 minutes when assigned standby duty.
- Holding a valid UK ATPL or ATPL(f) licence.
- Possession of an A330 or A320 Type-Rating.
- Relevant time on type: Flexible for A330 rated pilots; A320 rated pilots applying for the CCQ opportunity require 2,500 hours on the A320.
- A valid Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) upon commencement of employment.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with a minimum English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 5.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work variable shifts, including unsociable hours, weekends, holidays, and overnight stays.
- Ability to successfully pass an airport security vetting procedure, which includes a comprehensive five-year background check.
