Senior Flight Instructor
Position Summary
The Senior Flight Instructor at United Aviate Academy is responsible for delivering comprehensive aviation training to aspiring flight instructors. This role encompasses both ground and flight instruction, utilizing simulators and adhering to the rigorous standards outlined by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Senior Flight Instructor ensures all students thoroughly understand and practice United Aviate Academy's commitment to aviation safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain accurate training records, adhering to the provisions of 14 CFR Part 141 and United Aviate Academy policies.
- Lead, organize, and coordinate all training functions for the CFI Initial course, including ground training, flight training, simulator training, and assessments.
- Deliver instruction in both group and one-on-one settings, ensuring a consistent and high standard of training as mandated by FAA regulations and United Aviate Academy policies.
- Guarantee that all assigned students achieve the course standards, training requirements, and objectives as outlined in the Training Course Outline.
- Provide regular and detailed reports on student progress and maintain meticulous and updated records.
- Collaborate with the team to recommend and implement improvements to curriculum and courseware.
- Foster a safe, supportive, reliable, and efficient environment for students, fellow instructors, and staff.
- Effectively communicate scheduling needs to relevant parties.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
