Aviation Training Specialist & Pilot Instructor
A highly respected aviation organization is seeking an accomplished professional to fill the role of Aviation Training Specialist and Pilot Instructor. This position requires deep expertise in flight operations, regulatory compliance, and instructional design to deliver world-class training programs. The Specialist operates in a formal, structured environment focused on maximizing client proficiency and adherence to industry best practices.
Core Responsibilities
The Specialist is charged with the following essential duties:
- Conduct comprehensive pilot ground and simulator training sessions for clients enrolled in core, specialty, or enrichment flight training courses.
- Develop, prepare, and rigorously maintain high-quality training materials that effectively support seamless instructional delivery and meet specific client needs in accordance with the established curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications and Compliance Requirements
Prospective candidates must satisfy stringent regulatory and operational requirements:
- Possession of an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, or an equivalent Airline Transport Pilot License issued by an ICAO member state.
- In the absence of an ATP Certificate, the applicant must fully meet all requirements stipulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under 14 CFR part 61.153.
- The applicant must also meet the requirements of 14 CFR part 61.64, specifically excluding any Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation.
- The Specialist must be willing and able to fully participate in the company's mandated Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug and Alcohol testing program.
