Amentum is currently seeking applications for the position of Helicopter Pilot (Instructor) at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive flight instruction in the UH-72 aircraft. A distinctive advantage for prospective candidates is that prior military aviation experience or specific UH-72 qualification is not a prerequisite for this position.

Helicopter Pilot Instructors at Amentum are integral to shaping the next generation of military aviators. Responsibilities include teaching, coaching, and mentoring student pilots through intensive training programs meticulously designed to prepare them for their future military aviation roles. While flight training inherently involves risk, safety remains the paramount principle underpinning every aspect of Amentum's Rotary Wing Flight Training culture. Instructors operate within a vast instructional area spanning over 40,000 square miles of National Airspace System, contributing to an unprecedented safety record of more than 2.5 million hours of flight instruction.
Applicants selected for this position are subject to Government approval and the terms of a 12-month Employee Agreement.
