Position Summary
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is seeking a motivated Part-Time Nursing Assistant Instructor to join our Health Sciences department. The successful candidate will join our talent pool for future instructional opportunities. Part-time faculty play an integral role in delivering high-quality education and fostering student success through flexible learning environments.
Essential Functions

Plan, prepare, and deliver effective instruction and learning outcome assessments.

Utilize engaging instructional strategies to support student success in and out of the classroom.

Maintain accurate student records and provide professional communication.

Serve as a mentor and advisor to students regarding their learning and career goals, maintaining accessibility outside of scheduled hours.

Provide educational leadership and collaborate effectively with faculty, administration, and support staff.

Uphold Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements and agency licensure standards to ensure program accreditation.

Ensure compliance with all college policies and instructional procedures.

Work non-standard hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and summers, in both classroom and clinical rotation settings.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including at least one year in Long Term Care as a staff nurse (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

At least one year of occupational experience within the last five years.

Current licensure as an RN in the State of Wisconsin, or eligibility for such licensure.

Completion of a Department of Health Services (DHS) approved Train-the-Trainer course.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience working with adult learners.
Physical Demands
Candidates must be capable of the following:

Mobility:
Moving around campus for meetings and events; ability to work in, on, around, over, and under fixed equipment/machinery; ability to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.

Manual Dexterity:
Operating office equipment, tools, and heavy machinery; ability to maneuver and push equipment as required.

Physical Exertion:
Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Visual and Auditory:
Ability to read documents and communicate effectively with staff and students.
