Position Overview: Part-Time Motorcycle Training Instructor
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) is seeking qualified candidates to join a pool of part-time faculty for motorcycle safety instruction. Located in Green Bay and reporting to the Associate Dean of Public Safety, this role involves delivering high-quality instruction, fostering student success, and promoting motorcycle safety within the community.
Essential Functions

Plan, prepare, and deliver effective instruction and assessments.

Utilize engaging instructional methodologies to support diverse student needs.

Maintain accurate student records and provide consistent feedback.

Mentor and support students in achieving their academic and career objectives.

Collaborate with faculty, administration, and campus staff.

Prepare training environments, including the setup and movement of motorcycles and equipment.

Maintain all Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements and agency-specific licensures.

Respond to potential incidents by maintaining current First Aid and CPR certifications.

Comply with College policies and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Code of Ethics.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

High School Diploma.

Valid Class M Motorcycle license with a satisfactory driving record.

Proficiency in operating Class M vehicles; must own and ride a motorcycle frequently.

MSF RiderCoach Certification (or completion within 6 months of hire).

First Aid and CPR certification (or completion within 6 months of hire).

Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, collaborative team environment.
Preferred: Prior experience in adult education or professional motorcycle training.
Physical Demands
Candidates must be capable of meeting the following physical requirements:

Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Maneuver, push, or pull training equipment as required.

Work in, on, around, over, and under equipment, including the use of lifts, ladders, or scaffolding.

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Demonstrate the manual dexterity required to operate tools and machinery.
Compensation and Scheduling

Part-time, as-needed basis; hours vary.

Salary:
$45.00 per contracted class hour.
