This highly desired position does not require specialized schooling or a college degree; comprehensive training is provided by the airline.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED; two or more years of college are preferred.
- Requires at least one year of customer service experience in a service industry such as retail, hospitality, food service, teaching/education, aviation, or social service.
- Must be able to speak clearly, concisely, and in an organized manner, with sufficient volume to be heard in an emergency.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Must be able to read and speak Vietnamese fluently.
- Ability to hear all types and ranges of sound is required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively during high-stress situations including aircraft evacuation, security threats, delays, medical emergencies, severe weather, and turbulence.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance, adhere to excellent grooming standards, and comply with uniform, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines. Tattoos are not permitted on the head, hands, or neck (including behind the ear). Visible tattoos on arms, wrists, legs, and feet are permitted if they are not larger than a credit card (3.5 inches x 2.24 inches) or are covered by standard uniform pieces. Visible tattoos must not be offensive (violent, obscene, sexual, racist, objectionable content, or include weapons).
- Decorative covers, adornments, or jewelry on teeth or in the mouth are not permitted.
- Must be able to proficiently operate electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) required for job tasks.
- Must possess a valid passport book prior to application with at least 18 months of validity remaining.
- Requires current physical possession of a valid U.S. passport book or foreign passport book with applicable visas, demonstrating eligibility to travel globally without restrictions as a working crew member, not as a passenger.
- Must be able to travel to and from all countries the airline serves without any restrictions. Applicants are responsible for verifying their travel eligibility for all destinations.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects (such as luggage to overhead bins or window exits), and push/pull a beverage cart (up to 250 lbs).
- Must pass a functional reach assessment with a combined 76-inch vertical and 43.5-inch horizontal reach (simultaneous), without shoes, to operate necessary equipment and doors.
- Must be able to sit in an assigned jump seat with the seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule supporting a 24/7 operation, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Onboarding and Training:
- Successful completion of a 6.5-week training program in Houston, TX, covering safety and customer service standards is required.
- Flight attendant trainees must successfully complete a water evacuation drill during training.
- Following successful training completion, the individual will be welcomed as a full-time employee and assigned to one of the airline's seven hubs (Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, Washington Dulles) or another flight attendant base location (relocation funds are not provided).
- During training, the airline provides a $140/week per diem, accommodations, breakfast, and lunch. Successful training graduates receive a $1,000 bonus.

- The starting hourly flight pay is $28.88, with the potential to reach the top of the base scale at $67.11/hour based on seniority.
- Additional compensation is available for language skills, lead positions, and international trips.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must be willing to complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and vision/hearing tests.
- Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment and randomized drug screens. Medical and recreational marijuana are prohibited due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
- Must pass a 10-year background check, including criminal history. Background must not prohibit travel to any destination the airline serves. Candidates with DWI/DUI charges or convictions within the last 10 years should research Canadian admissibility requirements, as these may prohibit travel to Canada unless a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) has been obtained prior to starting training.
