Overview
Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Flight Attendant for an operation based at KLAS. The successful candidate will be a flexible team player, prepared to undertake additional responsibilities to deliver superior, round-the-clock service to passengers. Culinary experience and a passion for food are mandatory, with advanced culinary training strongly preferred. This position is responsible for providing exceptional personal services to ensure passenger safety and comfort during flight. Duties include greeting passengers, explaining safety equipment, and serving food and beverages.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Provide a high level of service to clients, ensuring passenger safety and comfort during flights.

Direct and assist passengers in emergency situations.

Administer basic first aid, including CPR, AED, and standard first aid, to passengers in distress.

Secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations prior to take-off and landing.

Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unsettling events.

Conduct preflight briefings.

Ensure adequate provision of food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other necessary supplies for the trip and number of passengers.

Procure items specifically requested by passengers for their flight.

Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment. Maintain the aircraft in a perpetually flight-ready, clean, and stocked condition.

Perform periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and cleanliness.

Complete all required preflight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.

Operate audio and video systems.
Qualifications

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.

First Aid Training Certification.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.

Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar programs is preferred; annual recurrent training is required.

Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualifications but must complete initial flight attendant training before flight assignments.

Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.

Proficiency with technology.

Demonstrated flexibility and patience.

Proficient culinary skills and specific culinary training.

Ability to manage a dynamic schedule and accommodate late-night flights.

Availability for short-notice flights (2-3 hour response time when on standby).

Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (considering health and visa status).

Capability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.

Proficiency in operating all features of the Cabin Management Systems.

Proficiency in operating all galley equipment.

Proficiency in operating all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

High level of attention to detail.

A college degree is preferred.

Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.

Experience with young children is preferred.
Specific Qualifications and Certifications

Vision:
Must have vision correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Must be able to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and operate computer, smartphone, and/or iPad devices.

Hearing/Speaking:
Must be able to speak clearly and possess adequate hearing to communicate effectively via phone and in person with clients, co-workers, and pilots, including during flight.

Standing/Walking:
Must possess the physical capability and strength to walk and stand unaided. Must be able to stand for up to 14 hours with limited opportunity for sitting. Must be able to work extended hours in diverse climatic conditions.

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending:
Must be able to kneel in the luggage compartment to load trip supplies and luggage. Must be able to maneuver within confined aircraft spaces.

Fingering/Grasping/Feeling/Strength:
Must be able to push open and pull closed the main cabin door, which can weigh up to 130 pounds. Must be able to write, type, operate a computer and phone, and prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages. Must be able to repeatedly lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height.

Solairus collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers are compensated between $50,000 and $500,000, with compensation influenced by geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
