Endeavor Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines operating as Delta Connection, is seeking an Operational/PBS SAFA to support Flight Attendants with operational performance and PBS bidding. This role, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is crucial for enhancing daily operations and supporting crew member needs.
About the Role
The Operational/PBS SAFA plays a vital role in supporting Flight Attendants by improving operational efficiency and assisting with Personal
Service (PBS) bidding. This position involves supporting Flight Attendants with on-time departures, troubleshooting operational issues in real time, and guiding them through PBS bid options, scoring, point values, and monthly bid package reviews. The role also encompasses assisting Flight Attendants with online account access, SkyPro inquiries, and website support, while contributing to base events, initiatives, and goals. A key aspect of this role is becoming a subject matter expert in areas pertinent to base initiatives and on-time performance.
Responsibilities

Compile, report, and trend concourse activity.

Assist Flight Attendants with on-time departures and real-time problem resolution.

Support Flight Attendants with PBS bid options, scoring, point values, and monthly bid package reviews.

Assist Flight Attendants with online account login, SkyPro, or website related questions.

Support base events, initiatives, and goals.

Develop expertise in areas relevant to base initiatives, goals, and on-time departures.

Complete other duties as assigned by Inflight Base Management.
Requirements

Must be an active Flight Attendant with a minimum of 9 months of service with the company.

Must not hold any other SAFA positions concurrently.

Must reside within the domicile for which they are applying.

Must have a clean employee file with no active discipline.

Demonstrated self-motivation, reliability, and organizational skills.

Availability to attend initial and annual recurrent PBS training in Minneapolis (MSP) is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 is necessary.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SkyPro and general technology is essential.

Ability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must possess the ability to embrace new ideas and encourage colleagues to do the same.

Must be able to interact professionally and positively with all work groups and customers.

Must adhere to the Flight Attendant Style Guide for uniform compliance while on duty.

May be required to fly to maintain operational integrity.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Capacity to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds.

Ability to push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force.

Candidate height must not exceed 70.5 inches (5' 10 ½") without shoes.

Ability to reach into overhead bins and retrieve stored items, with a minimum reach of 76 inches from flat feet to fingertips without shoes.

Must be able to work in aircraft aisles and galleys, performing tasks that involve standing, reaching, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and working in cramped or awkward positions.

Must be able to walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward and move quickly through any exit.

Ability to hear and respond to customer and crew communications in high background noise environments.
