Hawaiian Airlines is seeking dedicated Flight Attendants to ensure guest safety and provide exceptional service across its network. This full-time, regular position offers bases in Honolulu (HNL), Los Angeles (LAX), and Seattle (SEA), with training scheduled for 2027.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of a Flight Attendant is to ensure the safety and security of guests onboard company aircraft. This involves being physically and psychologically capable of executing safety procedures and assisting guests during emergencies. Flight Attendants also deliver a high standard of customer service, providing food and beverage service and embodying the Aloha spirit. This is a union-represented position.
Key Duties

Conduct preflight briefings and prepare the aircraft cabin for boarding and departure.

Greet guests, assist with seating and luggage, and respond to inquiries.

Demonstrate safety equipment and ensure guest compliance with regulations.

Respond to emergencies, administer first aid, and report incidents.

Provide in-flight food and beverage service and handle onboard purchases.

Prepare the cabin for landing and assist with guest deplaning.

Complete annual FAA-approved re-certification and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures.

Collaborate with crew members, maintain professionalism, and meet physical demands.

Assist ill or incapacitated passengers and fellow crew members.

Evacuate the aircraft in emergency situations, potentially in dense smoke.

Operate emergency equipment, including oxygen bottles and fire extinguishers.

Remove and lift emergency cabin windows (up to 60 pounds).

Descend via emergency slides from a height of approximately 24.5 feet.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Proficiently speak, read, write, and understand English.

Proficiently speak and read business-level French.

Two (2) years of direct customer experience in the hospitality or airline industry, OR four (4) years of customer contact and issue resolution experience in fields such as retail, education, healthcare, or professional services.

Vertical reach of 82 inches without shoes.

Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.

Comfortable being in a swimming pool with a life vest during emergency training.

Able to properly secure oneself in a jump seat with a harness.

Able to expeditiously move through the cabin aisle.

Able to serve alcohol.

Able to relocate within Hawaii or the continental U.S.

Possess a valid passport and be able to secure applicable visas.

Legal right to travel from all countries served by Hawaiian Airlines.

Travel documents must remain valid throughout training and employment.

Able to work alternative schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must present a professional image, with no visible body art, facial or multiple piercings, or extreme hair color/style while in uniform or public areas.

Successfully pass a tuberculosis (TB) test.

Successfully complete an FAA-approved, unpaid eight (8) week intensive training program in Honolulu.
