Hawaiian Airlines is seeking dedicated Flight Attendants to ensure guest safety and provide exceptional service aboard their aircraft. This full-time, permanent position requires flexibility in base location, with potential assignments in Honolulu (HNL), Los Angeles (LAX), and Seattle (SEA). About the Role
The primary responsibility of a Flight Attendant with Hawaiian Airlines is to ensure the safety and well-being of guests during flights. This includes being physically and psychologically prepared to execute safety procedures and respond to emergencies. Flight Attendants also deliver a high level of customer service, offering food and beverage service while creating a welcoming Aloha experience for all passengers. This position is union represented and requires adherence to strict safety regulations and customer service standards.
Key Duties

Conduct pre-flight briefings and prepare the aircraft cabin for boarding.

Greet guests, assist with seating, and manage carry-on luggage.

Demonstrate and ensure compliance with safety equipment and regulations.

Respond effectively to emergency situations, including evacuations and administering first aid.

Provide in-flight food and beverage service, including processing payments.

Manage landing preparations and post-flight duties.

Complete annual FAA-approved re-certification and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures.

Collaborate with crew members to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Perform essential job functions, including emergency duties such as assisting passengers, operating emergency equipment, and evacuating the aircraft.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Ability to speak and read business-level Greek.

Two (2) years of direct customer experience in the hospitality or airline industry, OR four (4) years of customer contact and issue resolution experience with the general public in industries such as retail, education, health care, and/or professional services.

Vertical reach of 82 inches without shoes.

Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.

Comfortable participating in water survival training.

Ability to properly secure oneself in a jump seat with a harness.

Ability to serve alcohol.

Must be able to relocate within Hawaii or the continental U.S.

Must possess a valid passport and be able to secure applicable visas for international travel.

Legal right to travel from all countries served by Hawaiian Airlines.

Travel documents must remain valid throughout training and employment.

Ability to work alternative schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Successfully pass a tuberculosis (TB) test.

Professional appearance, with restrictions on visible body art and piercings.

Satisfactorily complete an unpaid, eight (8) week intensive FAA-approved training program in Honolulu.

Must be able to obtain and maintain authorization for unescorted access to aircraft and SIDA areas.

Must pass post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing as per DOT regulations.
