Hawaiian Airlines is seeking qualified individuals to join their team as Flight Attendants. This role is based in Honolulu (HNL), Los Angeles (LAX), or Seattle (SEA), with candidates required to be willing to relocate to any of these locations based on operational needs. Flight Attendants are primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of guests aboard company aircraft, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the company's Aloha spirit. This is a union-represented, full-time position.
About the Role
The primary function of a Flight Attendant at Hawaiian Airlines is to ensure guest safety by being capable of performing safety procedures and assisting guests during emergencies. Flight Attendants must manage fast-paced environments, handle emergency situations effectively, and interact with guests in an attentive and pleasant manner. A secondary responsibility includes providing guests with a consistent level of customer service, including food and beverage service, and delivering an unsurpassed Aloha experience. Essential duties encompass preflight preparation, guest interaction, safety demonstrations, emergency response, in-flight service delivery, and post-flight duties. Flight Attendants must also maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements

Two (2) years of direct customer experience in the hospitality or airline industry, OR four (4) years of customer contact and issue resolution with the general public in industries such as retail, education, health care, and/or professional services.

Proficiency in speaking and reading business-level Greek.

Vertical reach of 82 inches without shoes.

Ability to learn and maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures in accordance with Hawaiian and FAA regulations.

Demonstrated strong customer service skills and ability to effectively diffuse and resolve difficult customer situations.

Ability to stand for up to four to seventeen hours, with potential for stooping, twisting, pulling, and pushing cabin equipment.

Ability to lift 25 lbs from floor to above shoulder height.

Comfortable being in a swimming pool with a life vest during emergency training and in water during an inflight emergency.

Ability to properly secure oneself in a jump seat with a harness without a seat belt extension.

Ability to expeditiously move through the cabin aisle in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Ability to serve alcohol.

Ability to relocate within the state of Hawaii or the continental U.S.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Successful completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test.

Possession of a valid passport and the ability to secure applicable visas for travel to countries served by Hawaiian Airlines.

Legal right to travel from all countries served by Hawaiian Airlines.

Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment.

Availability to work alternative schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum age of 21.

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Must present a professional image with no visible body art, facial, multiple or upper ear piercings, gauge piercings, or extreme hair color/style while in uniform or public areas.
Qualifications

College education or degree (Preferred).

Successful completion of an FAA-approved, unpaid eight (8) week intensive training program provided by Hawaiian Airlines.

Annual FAA-approved re-certification provided by Hawaiian Airlines.
