About the Role
The Flight Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining cabin safety, conducting safety demonstrations, and responding effectively to in-flight emergencies. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, superior interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to perform calmly and efficiently under pressure. Key Responsibilities

Operate within the aircraft environment in strict compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.

Prioritize passenger safety and comfort on all flights.

Deliver exemplary customer service that surpasses passenger expectations.

Assist passengers with luggage stowing and retrieval, seeking assistance when necessary.

Provide dedicated support to passengers requiring special assistance.

Prepare and serve a variety of meals and beverages.

Maintain a consistently professional appearance and demeanor.

Respond to emergency situations by implementing flight deck instructions, guiding passenger evacuations, and administering emergency medical assistance including CPR and first aid.

Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and operational standards for passengers and the aircraft.

Conduct clear and professional safety demonstrations, public announcements, and passenger instructions.

Complete all required incident, safety, and service reports and documentation accurately.

Retrieve and store items in overhead bins, and operate and secure aircraft doors.

Maneuver food and beverage carts and operate galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cabin, galley, and lavatories.

Adhere to all safety-conscious behaviors in daily operations.

Undertake additional duties as assigned by leadership or the Pilot-in-Command.
Requirements

Minimum age of 23 years.

High school diploma or GED required.

Possess a valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record, and hold a valid passport.

Authorized to work in the United States and capable of international travel.

Fluent in English; bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Successfully complete Contour’s four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.

Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and duty periods up to 16 hours.

Must reside within a one-hour radius of the assigned domicile.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
