Flight Attendant - Hawaiian Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines is seeking dedicated Flight Attendants to ensure the safety and exceptional in-flight experience for guests aboard their aircraft. This role involves maintaining a high standard of customer service while being prepared to handle emergency situations and adhere to strict safety protocols. Successful candidates will be based in Honolulu (HNL), Los Angeles (LAX), or Seattle (SEA).
About the Role
The primary responsibility of a Flight Attendant at Hawaiian Airlines is to guarantee the safety and well-being of passengers throughout the flight. This includes proficiently performing safety procedures, assisting guests during emergencies, and maintaining composure in fast-paced environments. Secondarily, Flight Attendants are integral to delivering the renowned Aloha experience by providing attentive and personalized customer service, including food and beverage service.
Key Duties

Conducting preflight preparations and briefings.

Engaging with guests, assisting with seating, and responding to inquiries.

Demonstrating safety equipment and ensuring passenger compliance with regulations.

Responding to emergency situations and reporting incidents.

Providing in-flight food and beverage service and processing payments.

Preparing the cabin for landing and assisting with deplaning.

Completing required training and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Collaborating with crew members to ensure a positive guest experience.

Performing essential emergency duties, including assisting passengers, operating emergency equipment, and assisting with evacuations.
Requirements

A minimum of 21 years of age.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Proficient spoken and written English.

Proficient spoken and written business-level French.

Two (2) years of direct customer experience in the hospitality or airline industry, or four (4) years of customer contact and issue resolution experience in fields such as retail, education, healthcare, or professional services.

Vertical reach of 82 inches without shoes.

Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.

Ability to work effectively with colleagues to provide prompt and pleasant service.

Willingness to work alternative schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to relocate within the state of Hawaii or the continental U.S.

Possession of a valid passport and the ability to secure applicable visas for international travel.

Legal right to travel from all countries served by Hawaiian Airlines.

Travel documents must remain valid throughout training and employment.

Ability to be present for an unpaid eight (8) week intensive FAA-approved training program in Honolulu.

Satisfactory completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test.

Ability to serve alcohol.

Comfortable participating in water safety training.

Ability to properly secure oneself in a jump seat with a harness.

Must present a professional image, with restrictions on visible body art, piercings, and extreme hair colors/styles while in uniform.
