Role Profile: Flight Attendant
The JSX Flight Attendant is instrumental in creating a simple, reliable, and joyful experience for every Customer, with paramount focus placed upon safety. This professional role requires comprehensive knowledge regarding the proper use of cabin equipment and controls. The Flight Attendant must be highly knowledgeable concerning all assignments, functions, and responsibilities associated with emergency scenarios, including ditching and the effective evacuation of all persons, particularly those requiring special assistance.
Core Responsibilities and Daily Operations
The Flight Attendant performs crucial duties from pre-flight preparation through post-flight procedures, ensuring operational excellence and safety compliance:
Pre-Flight Preparation: Ensures the aircraft is meticulously clean, fully stocked, and appropriately prepared for Customer boarding. Verifies the presence and operational integrity of all emergency equipment, including life vests, oxygen masks, and essential supplies.
Safety and Compliance: Conducts or verifies safety briefings during boarding and pre-flight stages. Secures the cabin in accordance with federal regulations and confirms aircraft readiness for departure with the Captain.
In-Flight Service: Provides attentive, proactive service to both Customers and Flight Crew, maintaining continuous vigilance and preparedness to respond effectively to any developing situation.
Emergency Response: Applies comprehensive training to remain calm, confident, and ready to assist with professionalism and exceptional care during routine duties and complex emergency scenarios.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required Experience and Legal Mandates:
In accordance with federal regulations governing this position, candidates must meet the following strict criteria:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must successfully complete all required federal background checks and eligibility screenings.
Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
A minimum of two (2) years of face-to-face Customer Service experience.
Must be a strong verbal communicator and fully fluent in the English language.
Required Skills, Licenses, and Physical Standards:
Must possess a current and valid Driver’s License.
Must possess a current and valid Passport.
Minimum age of 21 years old.
Physical height requirement: Must be between 5’0” and 5’8” without shoes, due to the specific size and configuration of the aircraft.
Must be able to sit comfortably in the assigned jumpseat without requiring an extension or modification.
Adherence to professional appearance standards, including the absence of visible tattoos or body piercings.
Preferred Experience:
Previous professional experience as a Flight Attendant.
Ability to communicate proficiently in a language in addition to English.

Compensation:
Compensation for this role is established at $198.00 per day. This rate reflects current market research and is aligned with JSX’s commitment to competitive compensation practices.
