Position Summary

United Therapeutics is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Flight Attendant to join our aviation team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service, maintain a zen cabin ambiance, and demonstrate expertise in large cabin operations. The Flight Attendant will be responsible for cabin safety, inventory management, and the coordination of high-level service requirements to support our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track inventory of all emergency and service equipment/supplies on assigned aircraft.
  • Manage inventory of backup supplies and amenities at the aircraft's home base.
  • Oversee aircraft water, electrical, media, and communication systems.
  • Accommodate specialized dietary requirements and passenger preferences.
  • Ensure the cabin is professionally staged prior to passenger arrival; coordinate service and cabin appearance within designated timelines.
  • Assist with passenger luggage stowage.
  • Identify and coordinate with domestic and international vendors for cabin and galley needs, including catering, fresh food, flowers, laundering, and supplies.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Lead Flight Attendant as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6+ years of on-the-job training.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • CPR and AED certification (completed within the past 12 months).
  • Emergency training meeting all FAA requirements.
  • Flight Safety or FACTS training (completed within the past 12 months).
  • Strong understanding of international aviation rules and regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of in-flight safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and proactively anticipate passenger needs.
  • Eligibility to obtain a USA Passport.
  • Ability to fly for extended periods of time without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate Degree with 4+ years of on-the-job training OR Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of on-the-job training.
  • DAK training completion.
  • Prior experience as a large cabin corporate flight attendant.
  • Background in personal concierge, hospitality, culinary, or restaurant services.
