Eastern Airlines seeks dedicated and service-oriented professionals to join our team as Flight Attendants. Responsibilities

  • Participate in preflight briefings, prepare aircraft, and conduct safety checks.
  • Manage onboard supplies, including food, beverages, and other provisions, ensuring adequate stock and appropriate distribution.
  • Handle transactions for onboard supplies as applicable.
  • Greet passengers, check boarding passes, answer inquiries, and assist with baggage stowage and passenger needs.
  • Conduct safety demonstrations, inform passengers about emergency equipment and exit row seating, and operate audio equipment.
  • Monitor cabin compliance with federal regulations and ensure passenger comfort during flights.
  • Prepare the aircraft and passengers for landing in accordance with company procedures and federal regulations.
  • Respond to in-flight emergencies, provide essential direction and assistance, administer first aid, and complete necessary reports.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation, reports, and paperwork accurately and punctually.
  • Engage with all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Valid US Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity remaining.
  • Availability for at least eighteen (18) days per month.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screenings, including pre-employment DOT drug tests, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
  • Must possess and maintain a personal cell phone.
  • Fluent in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding.
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Previous customer service experience required; hospitality or retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel to Canada.
  • Must maintain valid travel documents, ensuring no impediments to international travel.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, stretching, and bending for extended periods (up to 14 hours or more).
  • Ability to work variable duty schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for extended periods away from home.
  • Availability to attend and successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training and operational experience.
  • Must maintain a polished, professional, and conservative appearance.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are permitted while on duty.
  • Proven ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
