Overview

Eastern Airlines seeks Flight Attendants who exhibit curiosity and a commitment to growth. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in preflight briefings, produce reports, perform safety checks, and prepare aircraft.
  • Ensure adequate stock and appropriate delivery of food, beverages, and other supplies.
  • Collect payment and/or manage inventory for restocking purposes.
  • Make announcements, greet customers, verify boarding passes, answer inquiries, assist with bag stowage, and provide support to those requiring assistance.
  • Conduct safety demonstrations, instruct customers on emergency equipment and exit row seating, and utilize audio equipment.
  • Monitor cabin compliance with federal regulations during pre-takeoff, pre-landing, and throughout the flight to ensure customer comfort.
  • Prepare customers and the aircraft for landing in accordance with company procedures and federal regulations.
  • Respond to in-flight emergencies by providing direction and assistance to passengers, administering emergency first aid, and completing necessary reports.
  • Complete and submit all required forms, reports, and paperwork accurately.
  • Treat all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Valid US Passport with at least six months of remaining validity.
  • Availability for a minimum of eighteen (18) days per month.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol checks, including a pre-employment DOT drug test, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
  • Must possess and maintain a personal cell phone.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Required customer service experience; hospitality or retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel to Canada.
  • Must maintain valid travel documents without any impediment to international travel.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and bend for extended periods (up to 14 hours or more).
  • Ability to work variable duty schedules with potential for extended periods.
  • Willingness to be away from the home base, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Availability to attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.
  • Must maintain a polished, professional, and conservative appearance.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are permitted while on duty.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
