Eastern Airlines seeks dedicated and service-oriented professionals to join our team as Flight Attendants. This role is integral to ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers while upholding the company's values and culture in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in preflight briefings and prepare the aircraft.
  • Conduct safety checks and produce required reports.
  • Ensure adequate stocking and appropriate delivery of onboard supplies, including food and beverages.
  • Process payments and maintain inventory records for restocking.
  • Make public address announcements, greet passengers, verify boarding passes, and answer inquiries.
  • Assist passengers with baggage stowage and provide support to those requiring assistance.
  • Deliver safety demonstrations and provide instructions on emergency equipment and exit row seating.
  • Utilize audio equipment effectively.
  • Monitor aisles to ensure passenger compliance with federal regulations during all phases of flight.
  • Conduct periodic checks to ensure passenger comfort.
  • Prepare the aircraft and passengers for landing in accordance with company procedures and federal regulations.
  • Respond to in-flight emergencies, providing necessary direction and assistance, including administering emergency first aid.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation, including injury/incident reports.
  • Treat all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Valid U.S. Passport with at least six months of remaining validity.
  • Availability for at least eighteen (18) days per month.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks, including drug and alcohol tests (pre-employment DOT drug test) and Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
  • Must possess and maintain a personal cell phone.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Must be able to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Previous customer service experience is required; hospitality or retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel to Canada.
  • Must maintain valid travel documents without any impediments to international entry.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and/or bend for extended periods (up to 14 hours or more).
  • Ability to work variable duty schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with possible extended periods away from home.
  • Availability to attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.
  • Must maintain a polished, professional, and conservative appearance.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are permitted while on duty.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
