Avelo Airlines is seeking energetic and highly motivated Flight Attendants to join our growing team. Responsibilities

Safety and Security

  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and comfort of all customers and crewmembers.
  • Respond safely and effectively to in-flight emergencies.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of all flight schedules.
  • Complete and submit accurate safety and incident documentation.

In-flight Standards

  • Provide a caring customer experience from boarding to deplaning, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues, providing creative resolutions.
  • Adhere to all Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Attend required training and maintain all necessary qualifications.
  • Maintain current knowledge of company materials, including the Inflight Service Manual, Playbook, and OneCrew Way Handbook.

Customer and Crew Leadership

  • Foster customer loyalty through cooperation with all operational crewmembers and leadership.
  • Treat all customers with kindness and respect.
  • Support onboard service, sales, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Serve as a marketing and public relations representative for the airline.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. passport (or foreign passport with applicable VISAs) with at least six months of validity remaining.
  • Must have the right to travel freely in and out of the U.S. and all cities served by Avelo Airlines, including Canada.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to report to the assigned airport within two hours; reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training.
  • Willingness to relocate to a base assignment at the employee's expense.
  • Ability to work a rotating, variable schedule, including up to 16-hour duty days, nights, weekends, holidays, and multi-day trips.
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Avelo uniform guidelines.
  • Compliance with all DOT, FAA, and Avelo regulations regarding drug and alcohol safety-sensitive policies.
  • Willingness to serve all food and beverage items, including alcohol.
  • Maintain a reachable telephone number and current residence address on file.

Physical Requirements

  • Vision of at least 20/40 with or without corrective lenses.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds from ground to waist.
  • Ability to walk forward down aircraft aisles without disturbing seated customers.
  • Must fit in the aircraft jumpseat with all restraints fastened without the use of an extension.
  • Maintain balance while walking and standing during flight.
  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, and crouch for extended periods.
  • Ability to push or pull aircraft doors and service carts with up to 100 lbs of force.
  • Ability to assist customers effectively during an evacuation.

Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $28.00 per hour.
  • Monthly Guarantee: 75-hour minimum.
  • Lead Pay: $2.00 override for lead position assignments.
  • Per Diem: $2.25 per hour while on duty.
  • Applicable premium and holiday pay.
