Position Overview

Priority Wire & Cable, a premier supplier of wire and cable across the U.S. and Canada, is seeking a professional Flight Attendant to join our flight department in Little Rock, AR. The successful candidate will provide exceptional in-flight service and ensure the safety and security of passengers on both domestic and international flights. This role reports to the senior pilot or head of the flight department and requires the ability to work independently within established flight program procedures.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive in-flight support, including meal and beverage service.
  • Execute pre-flight safety checks and participate in pre-flight briefings regarding weather and flight plans.
  • Ensure passenger safety by demonstrating emergency equipment, providing instructions, and maintaining order during turbulence or emergencies.
  • Administer first aid and medical care as necessary.
  • Prepare the galley, restock supplies, and maintain cabin cleanliness between flights.
  • Assist passengers with seat assignments, carry-on luggage, and special needs.
  • Direct contract flight attendants when required.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience (hospitality, flight attendant, personal assistant, or concierge roles are accepted).
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Possession of a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
  • Flexibility to support an ever-changing flight schedule, including being available on short notice.
  • Must reside within one hour of the hangar.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and applicable flight software.

Desired Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and diligent in high-pressure or emergency situations.
  • Willingness to travel away from the home base for multiple consecutive days (75% travel requirement).
  • Previous flight attendant training or experience is considered an asset, though not required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The work environment includes both customer-facing areas and hangar maintenance facilities. Employees will be exposed to varying weather conditions, moderate to loud noise levels, vibrations, and occasional fuel fumes. Priority Wire & Cable will provide training for CPR and First Aid.
