Position Summary
The Flight Attendant serves as a crucial ambassador for GoJet Airlines, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers aboard the CRJ-550 aircraft. This role requires individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, adept at managing various in-flight situations, and committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism. As the sole Flight Attendant on the 50-passenger aircraft, this position offers a unique opportunity for independent operation while being an integral part of the GoJet Airlines crew.

- Adheres strictly to all applicable aviation regulations and company work rules.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates for the Flight Attendant position must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A minimum of two years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in the English language, including the ability to make clear announcements and deliver emergency orders, is essential.
- Must be at least 19 years of age at the time of application.
- Must possess a valid U.S. Passport, driver’s license or state ID, and Social Security card.
- Must have the legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all U.S. states and Canada.
- Must reside within two hours (approximately 100 miles) of the assigned Newark (EWR) domicile.
- All required travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment.
- Must possess the legal right to work in the United States.
- Ability to attend and successfully complete up to six weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO.
- Availability to serve on reserve duty and report for duty in the assigned base, potentially for an undetermined number of years.
- Adherence to strict uniform standards and guidelines, maintaining a professional and conservative appearance. Visible tattoos or body piercings on the hands, face, or neck are not permitted, with exceptions only for those related to religious beliefs (ears only).
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
The role requires a high degree of physical capability and adaptability to various working conditions, including:
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in small, confined spaces and managing environmental factors such as turbulence, dry air, and varying noise levels from aircraft engines.
- Extensive travel is required, including the ability to spend consecutive nights away from home and adapt to diverse climates.
- Flexibility to work alternative schedules, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Skilled in handling challenging situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation with professionalism and empathy.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, providing a friendly and welcoming reception to all customers.
- Capable of professionally representing the GoJet Airlines brand while in uniform, engaging directly with customers through outstanding communication, sound judgment, and perseverance in resolving issues.
Compensation and Benefits
GoJet Airlines offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
- An hourly rate of $28.00.
- A guaranteed minimum of 75 flight hours per month.

Training Program
Selected candidates are required to successfully complete a company-paid training program at the Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO. This comprehensive training, approximately five to six weeks in length (depending on class size), includes hands-on evaluation within an aircraft. GoJet Flight Attendant candidates will also receive two complimentary training courses through the Inflight Institute: a mandatory short supplemental video course prior to the interview, and a pre-course that must be completed with an 80% or higher score to attend in-person training. These modules are designed to prepare future flight attendants for their journey with GoJet Airlines.
