About the Role

GoJet Airlines is seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals to join their crew as Flight Attendants based in Chicago, IL. This full-time position offers the opportunity to travel while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of passengers aboard the CRJ-550 aircraft, which operates as United Express.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding in-flight service and maintain high standards of customer care.
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight, from boarding to deplaning.
  • Effectively manage a variety of situations and interact with the public.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and orderly cabin environment.
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency situations following established protocols.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations and company work rules.
  • Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 19 years of age.
  • Reside within a 90-mile radius of the assigned domicile.
  • Possession of a valid Passport, driver’s license or state ID, and Social Security card.
  • Legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all states and Canada.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Ability to make announcements and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must adhere to uniform standards and guidelines, with restrictions on visible tattoos and piercings.
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and lift heavy objects, and spend extended periods standing and speaking.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, experiencing turbulence, dry air, and varying noise levels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including consecutive nights away from home and enduring various climates.
  • Ability to work alternative schedules, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Proficiency in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, and conflict de-escalation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Two years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to attend up to 6 weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO.
  • Ability to be on call and available for reserve duty, which may continue for an undetermined number of years.
