United currently operates with over 28,000 active Flight Attendants. As one of the largest airlines globally with a vast network, the airline is experiencing significant growth. The role of a Flight Attendant is highly sought after due to the unique opportunity to see the world while working. This position does not require special schooling or a college degree; full training is provided by the airline.

Key Responsibilities and Proficiencies:

Training and Base Assignment:

Successful candidates will begin their career with a 6.5-week training program located in Houston, TX. This comprehensive training covers the airline's safety and customer service standards. Upon successful completion, trainees will be welcomed as full-time employees and assigned to one of the airline's seven hubs (Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, Washington Dulles) or another Flight Attendant base location. Relocation funds are not provided. During training, a weekly stipend of $140 is provided, along with accommodations, breakfast, and lunch. Successful training graduates will receive a $1,000 bonus.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting hourly flight pay for this role is $28.88, with the top of the base scale reaching $67.11 per hour. Pay increases are based on seniority, and additional compensation is provided for language skills, lead positions, and international trips. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as profit sharing. The airline offers a competitive compensation package including exceptional benefits.
