As a United Flight Attendant, you will:

This dynamic role requires:
- Minimum Age: 21 years old at the time of application.
- Education: High school graduate or GED, with a preference for two or more years of college.
- Customer Service: Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service-oriented field (e.g., retail, hospitality, food service, teaching/education, aviation, social service).
- Communication Skills: Fluent English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and audibly in emergency situations.
- Fluency in Dutch: Essential for effective communication with passengers.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects (such as luggage), and push/pull beverage carts (up to 250 lbs).
- Functional Reach: Successfully pass a functional reach assessment (76-inch vertical and 43.5-inch horizontal reach, simultaneously, without shoes).
- Travel Eligibility: Possess a valid passport (with at least 18 months of remaining validity) and the ability to travel globally without restrictions.
- Legal Status: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Pre-Employment Assessments: Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, vision/hearing tests, and DOT/FAA pre-employment and randomized drug screens.
- Professional Appearance: Adhere to United's professional appearance and grooming standards, including tattoo and piercing guidelines.
- Proficiency with Electronic Devices: Ability to operate electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops) to complete required tasks.
