Responsibilities

Flight Attendants at Envoy Air are responsible for maintaining safety and delivering exceptional service. Core duties include:

  • Greeting and assisting passengers while providing clear public announcements.
  • Ensuring passenger compliance with safety requirements and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrating professionalism and leadership during operational changes, passenger inquiries, and emergency situations.
  • Executing emergency procedures, including rapid aircraft evacuations.
  • Assisting passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors.
  • Managing challenging passenger interactions, including disorderly or intoxicated individuals.
  • Providing care and first aid for ill or incapacitated passengers.
  • Operating effectively within the confined spaces of aircraft galleys and aisles.
  • Adapting to variable environments, including flight schedule shifts and changing weather conditions.
  • Contributing to the punctuality of flight departures and arrivals.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Height between 5’0 and 6’0 (measured without shoes).
  • Ability to fit into a jump seat harness and seat belt without modification.
  • Possess a valid passport with the legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all countries served by Envoy.
  • Must meet all requirements to enter and exit Canada (no criminal history within the last five years).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and trips lasting up to four consecutive overnights.
  • Physical ability to push, pull, twist, turn, and lift equipment, carts, and doors of varying weights.
  • Must maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance compliant with uniform standards.
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license or passport.
  • Access to reliable high-speed internet and a computer/device capable of downloading Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferences

  • One year of hospitality experience (hotel, restaurant, or retail).
  • Previous work experience in face-to-face, public-contact roles.
  • College degree.

Additional Requirements and Conditions

  • Appearance Standards: No visible tattoos or body art while in uniform or during training. Body piercings are limited to single ear piercings; no other visible piercings (nose, tongue, eyebrow, etc.) are permitted. No extreme hair or nail colors/styles.
  • Identification: All government-issued identification must feature the same first and last name as the passport.
  • Training and Relocation: Must be willing to attend training in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (portions unpaid). Upon completion, must be able to relocate without reimbursement to an assigned crew base.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Must pass FAA criminal background checks for SIDA access and secure required airport/US Customs security badges. Applicants are subject to DOT drug and alcohol history checks for this safety-sensitive position.
