About the Role
Key Responsibilities:

Greet, direct, assist passengers, and provide public announcements.

Ensure passenger compliance with safety requirements and federal regulations.

Demonstrate leadership and professionalism during inquiries, operational changes, and emergencies.

Provide clear, calm emergency instructions and prepare for rapid passenger evacuation.

Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors.
-
Effectively diffuse challenging situations involving disorderly, intoxicated, or irate passengers.

Administer first aid and care for ill, injured, or incapacitated passengers per regulations.
-
Perform duties efficiently within confined aircraft aisles and galleys.

Adapt to frequent changes in flight schedules and variable weather.

Complete all responsibilities timely for on-time departures and arrivals.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:

Minimum age of 18 years.
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
-
Height between 5’0 and 6'0 without shoes.
-
Ability to fit into a jump seat harness and seat belt without modification.

Valid passport with legal right to travel unrestricted to all countries served by Envoy, and meet Canada entry/exit requirements (no criminal history in the last five years).

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (read, write, speak, understand).

Willingness to work varied shifts: days, nights, weekends, holidays, and trips up to four consecutive overnights.

Ability to push, pull, twist, turn, and lift equipment, carts, and doors of various weights.
-
Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and comply with all uniform standards.

Possess the legal right to work in the United States.

Access to reliable high-speed internet and a device for Microsoft Office Suite, with basic MS Teams and internet browsing knowledge.

Willingness to attend training in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (portions unpaid).

Willingness to immediately relocate without reimbursement to an assigned Flight Attendant crew base (Chicago, IL; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Miami, FL; Phoenix, AZ) upon training completion.

Ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks for unescorted airport security identification display areas (SIDA) access.

Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
-
Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and/or alcohol violation history screening.
Desired Qualifications:

One (1) year of hospitality experience in hotel, restaurant, or retail.

Previous work experience requiring face-to-face public contact.
-
A college degree.
Appearance Guidelines:
-
No visible tattoos or body art while in uniform or during training.
-
Body piercings limited to single ear piercings; no visible facial or other body piercings.
-
No extreme hair or nail colors or styles.
-
Government-issued identification must match passport name.
