Job Summary
Contour Airlines, a distinguished aviation services provider, seeks a dedicated Flight Attendant to join its dynamic team at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) domicile. Responsibilities
- Perform all assigned duties within the aircraft environment, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and established company policies and procedures.
- Prioritize and ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight.
- Deliver exemplary customer service, consistently aiming to meet and exceed passenger expectations.
- Assist passengers with the stowing of luggage in overhead compartments and other designated storage areas, soliciting assistance when necessary.
- Provide attentive care to passengers requiring special assistance, including unaccompanied minors, individuals with disabilities, and the elderly.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations by implementing instructions from the flight deck and adhering to all safety and emergency protocols.
- Guide and direct passengers verbally and non-verbally during emergencies, such as evacuations, to ensure their safety and minimize impact.
- Administer emergency medical assistance, including CPR and basic first aid, to individuals in distress.
- Ensure passengers and the aircraft environment comply with all relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and safety measures.
- Effectively communicate verbally for onboard public address announcements, safety demonstrations, and passenger instructions.
- Maintain accurate written records, including incident reports and discrepancy documentation.
- Retrieve and store items in overhead bins, which may be positioned up to 67 inches from the floor.
- Safely operate emergency exits and aircraft doors, which can weigh up to 60 pounds, and manage heavy beverage/food carts requiring up to 32 pounds of force for propulsion.
- Perform tasks requiring frequent walking, bending to ankle level, reaching above shoulder level, and reaching into overhead bins.
- Proficiently utilize all galley, cabin service equipment, and in-flight entertainment systems independently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatories.
- Exhibit safety-conscious behavior in all operational processes and procedures.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by management or the Pilot-in-Command.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Annual Salary: $34,000.00. Eligible for annual increases based on performance and anniversary date, up to $42,564.91. Additional pay incentives may be available based on schedule and performance thresholds.

- Non-revenue/space-available (NRSA) travel privileges after six active months of service.
- Eligibility for various leaves of absence, including medical, family care, maternity, paternity, and personal leave.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- High school diploma or GED certificate required.
- Authorized to work in the United States and capable of domestic and international travel.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Valid passport required.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and comply with random testing.
- Ability to pass a 10-year work history review, criminal background check, and fingerprint screening.
- Successful completion of Contour's intensive four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule with variable hours, including potential duty days up to 16 hours and assignments on nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possess polished, professional interpersonal skills and a positive, customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities.

- Commitment to working safely and professionally, adhering to all regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, state, and federal).
- Must reside within a one-hour commute of the assigned domicile.
