About the Role
The JSX Flight Attendant plays a pivotal role in ensuring a simple, reliable, and joyful experience for every customer, while upholding the highest standards of safety. This position requires in-depth knowledge of cabin equipment and controls, as well as a comprehensive understanding of assignments, functions, and responsibilities during emergency procedures, including ditching and the evacuation of persons requiring special assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the aircraft cabin is immaculately clean, fully stocked, and meticulously prepped for customer boarding.
- Verifying the presence and operational readiness of all emergency equipment, including life vests, oxygen masks, and essential supplies.
- Conducting or verifying thorough safety briefings, securing the cabin, and confirming aircraft readiness for departure with the Captain.
- Providing attentive, high-quality service to customers and crew during flight, maintaining constant vigilance, and readiness to respond to any situation.
- Applying comprehensive training with calmness, confidence, and professionalism to manage routine duties and effectively assist in emergency scenarios.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of face-to-face customer service experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
- A current and valid Driver’s license is required.
- A current and valid Passport is required.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Height between 5’0” and 5’8” without shoes, strictly due to aircraft dimensions.
- Ability to comfortably sit in an assigned jumpseat without requiring extension or modification.
- No visible tattoos or body piercings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Flight Attendant.
- Proficiency in an additional language (ability to speak and communicate).
Compensation and Benefits
JSX offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package:
- Compensation: A daily rate of $198.00, established through market research and aligned with our compensation philosophy.
- Health Benefits: Eligibility begins on the 1st of the month following the start date. Medical plans commence at $110/month, with 100% employer-paid dental and vision coverage. Up to $2,100 annually for HSA contributions. Employer-provided short-term and long-term disability coverage at no additional cost.
- Travel Benefits: Complimentary non-revenue standby travel on JSX, alongside significantly discounted standby travel on major domestic and international airlines for the Crewmember and eligible immediate family members.
- 401(k) Match: A 50% match on the first 8% of contributions.
