Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest levels of safety on every flight.

- Maintain availability for global assignments 24/7, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Benefits:
- Starting hourly flight pay of $28.88/hour, with top-of-base scale reaching $67.11/hour.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- High school graduate or GED; 2 or more years of college preferred.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a service industry (retail, hospitality, food, teaching/education, aviation, social service).
- Ability to speak clearly, concisely, and loudly in emergency situations.
- Fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English. Ability to read and speak Hebrew fluently required.
- Ability to hear all types and ranges of sound.
- Ability to effectively communicate in high-stress situations (aircraft evacuation, security threats, delays, medical emergencies, severe weather, turbulence).
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming, uniform, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines.
- Tattoos are not permitted on the head, hands, or neck. Visible tattoos on arms, wrists, legs, and feet must not exceed credit card size (3.5 inches long x 2.24 inches wide) or must be covered with standard uniform pieces and are not offensive in nature.
- Decorative covers, adornments and/or jewelry on teeth or in the mouth are not permitted.
- Proficiency in operating electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops).
- Valid passport with at least 18 months validity remaining prior to its expiration is mandatory prior to application.
- Ability to travel to and from all countries United serves without restrictions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects (luggage to overhead bin or window exit), and push/pull a beverage cart (up to 250 lbs).
- Ability to pass a functional reach assessment with a combined 76-inch vertical and 43.5-inch horizontal reach (simultaneous), without shoes on, in order to operate all necessary equipment, machinery, and doors.
- Ability to sit in an assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened.
- Ability to serve and/or sell food and beverages (including alcohol) diligently and professionally.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule supporting United's 24/7 operation (weekdays, weekends, holidays, etc.).
Onboarding and Training Expectations:
- Successful completion of an evacuation drill in the water (pool) during training.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and vision/hearing tests.
- Ability to pass DOT/FAA pre-employment and randomized drug screens. Medical and recreational marijuana use is prohibited.
- Ability to pass a 10-year background check, including criminal background history, that does not prohibit travel to or from any United destination.
