GoJet Airlines invites professional and enthusiastic individuals to apply for the position of Flight Attendant. This role offers the opportunity to travel as part of a dedicated crew delivering exceptional service. While previous experience is not mandatory, a strong commitment to providing the highest level of customer service is essential.
As a GoJet Flight Attendant, the successful candidate will serve as the sole cabin crew member aboard the 50-passenger CRJ-550 aircraft operating for United Express. This role is central to ensuring the safety and security of passengers from boarding through deplaning, while simultaneously creating a memorable and comfortable travel experience through outstanding customer service. GoJet Airlines distinguishes itself by assigning Flight Attendants to their requested base upon hiring, providing stability and predictability.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of in-flight service, ensuring a remarkable customer experience.
- Demonstrate excellent dependability and punctuality in adherence to flight schedules.
- Exhibit the ability to think independently while functioning effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Manage a diverse range of situations encountered during continuous interaction with the public, both onboard and off the aircraft.
- Operate effectively both independently and as part of a team without direct supervision.
- Prioritize and ensure the safety and comfort of all customers.
- Respond effectively to various emergency and non-emergency situations, utilizing provided training.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly cabin environment throughout all phases of flight.
- Adhere strictly to all applicable aviation regulations and company work rules.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Two years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to deliver announcements, provide emergency instructions, and communicate proficiently in the English language.
- Must be at least 19 years of age at the time of application.
- Must be in possession of a valid Passport, a valid driver’s license or state ID, and a Social Security card.
- Must hold the legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all states and countries served, including Canada.
- Must reside within two hours (approximately 100 miles) of the domicile for which they are applying.
- Required travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment.
- Must possess the legal right to work in the United States.
- Ability to attend up to six weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO.
- Ability to be on call and available to report for duty in the assigned base (reserve duty). Reserve duty status may continue for an undetermined duration.
- Must adhere to company uniform standards and guidelines, maintaining a professional and conservative appearance. While certain exceptions exist for religious beliefs, visible tattoos or body piercings on the hands, face, or neck are not permitted without exception.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
The role requires some physical exertion, including the ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push-pull, and lift heavy objects. Flight Attendants will experience long periods of standing and speaking, work in small and confined cabin spaces, and navigate conditions such as turbulence, dry air, and varying noise levels from aircraft engines. The position involves extensive travel, requiring the ability to spend consecutive nights away from home and endure varying climates. The work schedule includes alternative hours, such as holidays, evenings, and weekends. Strong skills in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation are necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount for providing friendly reception and direct engagement with customers, requiring outstanding communication abilities, public speaking comfort, good judgment, and the capacity to resolve issues with understanding, compassion, and perseverance. The Flight Attendant must consistently and professionally represent the GoJet Airlines brand while in uniform.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Starting hourly rate of $19.58
- Guaranteed minimum of 75 flight hours per month

Training:
Selected candidates must successfully complete a company-paid training program at the GoJet Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO. This includes hands-on evaluation in the aircraft. Training is approximately five to six weeks in length, depending on class size. A mandatory supplemental video course must be completed prior to the interview, and a pre-course requiring a minimum score of 80% is mandatory for attendance at the in-person training in St. Louis. These courses are designed to prepare future Flight Attendants for the role.
