Overview:
GoJet Airlines seeks friendly, professional, and enthusiastic individuals to join its crew as a Flight Attendant. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel while providing essential safety, security, and exceptional customer service aboard the United Express CRJ-550 aircraft, which revolutionizes regional flying. As the sole Flight Attendant on a 50-passenger jet, the incumbent plays a vital role in overseeing all aspects of the passenger experience from boarding through deplaning, ensuring both safety and comfort while creating a memorable journey. GoJet Airlines uniquely assigns crew members to the base for which they apply, offering stability in location. No prior experience is necessary; however, candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Two years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to make announcements, give emergency orders, and communicate fluently in the English language.
- Must be at least 19 years of age at the time of application.
- Must be in possession of a valid Passport, driver’s license or state ID, and Social Security card.
- Must possess the legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all states and countries serviced (including Canada).
- Must reside within two hours (approximately 100 miles) of the domicile location for which applying.
- All travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Ability to attend and successfully complete up to six weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO.
- Ability to be on call and available to report for duty in the assigned base (reserve duty). Reserve duty may continue for an undetermined period.
- Must adhere strictly to uniform standards and guidelines, maintaining a professional and conservative appearance. Visible tattoos and body piercings on the hands, face, and neck, or those visible while in business attire, are not permitted without exception, unless directly related to religious beliefs.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Requires some physical exertion including the ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push-pull, and lift heavy objects.
- Involves long periods of standing and speaking.
- Ability to work in small, confined spaces and navigate conditions such as turbulence, dry air, and varying noise levels from aircraft engines.
- Requires extensive travel, including the ability to spend consecutive nights away from home and adapt to varying climates.
- Involves alternative work schedules including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
- Starting pay is $19.58 per hour.
- Guaranteed minimum of 75 hours per month.
- $2.00 per hour per diem.

Training Program:
Candidates selected for employment must successfully complete a company-paid training program at the GoJet Airlines Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO, followed by hands-on evaluation in the aircraft. Training duration is approximately five to six weeks, dependent on class size. GoJet Airlines requires candidates to complete two complimentary training courses through the Inflight Institute: a mandatory supplemental video course prior to the interview, and a pre-course that must be successfully completed with a score of 80% or higher before attending the in-person training in St. Louis. These courses are designed to help prospective flight attendants understand the career path they are embarking upon. The Inflight Institute offers additional supplemental and aircraft-specific courses, which are not mandatory for receiving an interview.
