GoJet Airlines is seeking a dedicated and professional Flight Attendant to join its crew based in Newark, NJ.

GoJet Airlines offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about travel and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Flight Attendant for GoJet Airlines, the successful candidate will serve as the sole Flight Attendant aboard the 50-passenger CRJ-550 aircraft, operating flights for United Express. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight experience, from boarding to deplaning. GoJet Airlines distinguishes itself by assigning Flight Attendants to the base for which they apply, providing stability and predictability in domicile location.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

The role requires physical exertion, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects. It involves extended periods of standing and speaking, working in small, confined spaces, and dealing with turbulence, dry air, and varying aircraft noise levels. Extensive travel is required, involving consecutive nights away from home and exposure to various climates. Work schedules include holidays, evenings, and weekends. The ability to handle difficult situations, problem solve, resolve complaints, and de-escalate conflict is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Flight Attendant must professionally represent the GoJet Airlines brand, engaging directly with customers through outstanding communication, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve issues with understanding, compassion, and perseverance.

Compensation and Benefits:

Training:

Selected candidates must successfully complete a company-paid training program at the Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO, followed by hands-on evaluation in the aircraft. Training is approximately five to six weeks in length. Candidates receive two complimentary training courses through the Inflight Institute: a mandatory short supplemental video course prior to the interview, and a mandatory pre-course that must be completed with an 80% or higher score before attending the in-person training in St. Louis. These courses are designed to provide future flight attendants with an understanding of the role. Supplemental and aircraft courses offered by the Inflight Institute are not mandatory for the interview process.
