Overview:
GoJet Airlines invites professional, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individuals to join its esteemed crew as a Flight Attendant based in Newark, NJ. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel while providing essential safety, security, and exceptional customer service aboard the elite 50-passenger CRJ-550 aircraft, operating for United Express. GoJet Airlines is distinguished as one of the few regional carriers that guarantees the base domicile selected during the application process. While previous experience is not mandatory, a strong commitment to delivering the highest standard of customer service is essential. The Flight Attendant serves as the sole cabin crew member, overseeing all aspects from boarding to deplaning, ensuring passenger safety, and creating a memorable in-flight experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Two years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Must be proficient in communicating clearly, including making announcements and giving emergency orders, in the English language.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Requires possession of a valid Passport, driver’s license or state ID, and Social Security card.
- Must hold the legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all states and countries served (including Canada).
- Must reside within two hours or 100 miles of the assigned domicile.
- Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment.
- Must possess the legal right to work in the United States.
- Ability to attend approximately six weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO.
- Must be available for reserve duty, requiring availability to report for duty in the assigned base on short notice. Reserve duty duration is undetermined.
- Requires adherence to uniform standards and guidelines, maintaining a professional and conservative appearance. Visible tattoos or body piercings on the hands, face, or neck are not permitted, except for those related to religious beliefs affecting pierced ears.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Requires physical exertion including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing/pulling, and lifting heavy objects.
- Involves long periods of standing and speaking.
- Ability to work in small, confined spaces and handle conditions such as turbulence, dry air, and varying aircraft engine noise levels.
- Extensive travel is required, including spending consecutive nights away from home and working in various climates.
- Requires availability for alternative work schedules, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, providing a friendly reception to all customers.
- Must professionally represent the GoJet Airlines brand while in uniform.
- Requires direct engagement with customers, utilizing outstanding communication skills, public speaking ability, sound judgment, and the capacity to resolve issues with understanding, compassion, and perseverance.
Salary and Benefits:
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Hourly Rate: $19.58
- Minimum of 75 guaranteed hours per month.
- Per Diem: $2.00 per hour.

Training:
Candidates selected for employment must successfully complete a company-paid training program at the GoJet Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO, which includes hands-on evaluation aboard the aircraft. Training is approximately five to six weeks in length. GoJet provides two complimentary training courses through the Inflight Institute for prospective Flight Attendants. A short supplemental video course is mandatory prior to the interview. A pre-course must also be completed with a score of 80% or higher to attend the in-person training course in St. Louis, designed to help candidates understand the journey ahead.
