Flight Attendant Program Manager

The Flight Attendant Program Manager (FA) reports to the Director, Technical Operations and is responsible for asset / stock tracking and utilization, optimization of data quality and Aircraft IT solutions, and industry best practices with regards to technical sustenance programs.

The responsibilities of the FA include:

Participate in the Safety Management System.

Responsible for the operational administration of the cabin IT systems, maintaining the highest of quality and safety standards, and provide cabin related decisions to support the operational excellence in liaison with the Aviation leadership team.

Assumes ownership of an assigned aircraft and is responsible for the operational readiness of the stocking / medical program ensuring operational readiness to the highest safety and quality standards.

Interfaces with the Hangar Operations Manager, Tech Ops, Flight Ops, Scheduling and Dispatch to optimize the customer service experience.

The duties of the FA include:

Plans and manages all scheduled and unscheduled Safety / Security responsibilities of FA during all flight phases of operational aircraft movements:

  • Has a responsibility for the Safety of passengers and crew, and the comfortable, first class service to the passengers.
  • Manages passenger profiles and all catering orders, being mindful of any health or allergy related concerns before serving to mitigate health risk during flights.
  • Collaborates with the crew and dispatch to determine if any special health considerations are required for passenger monitoring or arrangements.
  • Manages interns and contractors to function as useable team members able to successfully demonstrate stewardship and care of TCCC aircraft and passengers.
  • Performs duties commensurate with and conforming to all standards established by International law, corporate policy, local state and federal regulations, and industry best practices.

Provide project management of in house and outsourced aircraft stocking and cabin readiness events.

Manages the cabin and ensures compliance with Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) regulations related to cabin and passenger safety such as CPR, AED and Emergency support.

Inventory Management – Ensure accurate stock and spend on all commissary items for aviation trips and commissary inventory control.

Cabin IT management – monitors and troubleshoots system for proper operation and manages IT budget for assigned aircraft.

Catering – manages and directs contract CSS catering spend to maintain budget compliance. Creates vendor relationships with catering vendors to achieve best in class service.

Prepares annual aircraft IT Data / Safety / stocking budget to include OPEX and CAPEX recommendations. Provide recommendations for aircraft improvements, modifications, upgrades, etc.

Implements and monitors budget constraints surrounding the Commissary, Cabin IT systems, and the Contract CSS and support staff.

The FA job requirements are:

Education Requirements: High School degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred;

Communications: Ability to communicate with executives and provide a high level of customer service.

Related Work Experience: 3+ years of aircraft Cabin Service / Flight Attendant experience preferred in a major corporate flight department or airline setting.
