Job Summary and Mission:
Starbucks Aviation is seeking a full-time flight attendant to join our aviation team in Seattle, WA. As a flight attendant for Starbucks, you will perform all in-flight safety and service duties supporting air travel requirements of company executives. This is a great opportunity to join an established Part 91 International flight department. Starbucks Aviation is an ISBAO (International Standard for Business Aviation Operations) Stage III operator promoting and maintaining a robust safety culture. This job contributes to Starbucks overall success by ensuring the safety and well-being of our passengers while providing "Starbucks" class service. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Responsibilities
- Assigned flights as cabin crew member on board Starbucks aircraft; Full time Flight Attendants can expect to fly up to 15 days/month varying on operational needs.
- Performs all safety related in-flight cabin duties to ensure passenger and crew safety.
- Conducts pre-flight review of emergency equipment reporting any discrepancies to the PIC and maintenance.
- Provides safety briefings to new passengers ensuring passenger compliance with safety requirements.
- Manages in-flight medical emergencies, providing first aid and CPR while communicating to medical personnel on ground.
- Operates and monitors all cabin systems on board to include cabin management systems, phones, connectivity, and entertainment capabilities.
- Create, plans all menus and direct coordination of catering supporting guests dietary needs/requests and service requirements
- Provides client profiles updates and post trip reports.
- Conducts post flight restock per inventory
- Participates in maintaining SMS
- Manage the procurement of aircraft and hangar supplies, pantry organization and aircraft inventory, supporting team members with arrivals and departures, quarterly meetings, training, conferences and miscellaneous projects.
- Assists with all ancillary duties
Qualifications
- 2 + years experience as Corporate Flight Attendant or 5 years Flight Attendant experience with major airline first class service
- Strong knowledge of culinary arts, food, wine, menu planning, and food safety in aviation or high-end restaurants.
- International experience preferred
- Valid US Passport required
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- FACTS or Flight Safety Training Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Flexible and adaptable with schedule changes
- Committed to safety and participation of SMS
- Passionate and dedicated in delivering high level of customer service
- Strong culinary skills, keen interest in cuisine and menu planning
- “Can do” attitude
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of technology, including Apple and Microsoft Devices and Software
- Experience with high tech aircraft cabin systems
- Ability to manage finances and accounting
- Self-motivated, strong attention to detail and adept at problem solving
- Act as positive ambassador for the company
Physical Requirements
- Extensive domestic and international travel is required
- Non-standard work schedule including weekends and holidays
- Required to climb stairs, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds and open emergency window exit weighing 60 pounds.
