Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Full-Time Global 6000 Captain to join an established operation based at Teterboro Airport (KTEB). The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, serving as a valued team member who consistently strives for excellence in all aspects of their performance. This role involves joining a diligent team committed to safely and expertly meeting the travel needs of clients while upholding Solairus Aviation’s foundational principles of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities

The Global 6000 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
  • Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
  • Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting comprehensive checks of weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route and at designated airports, including alternates.
  • Ensuring all flights adhere to the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork following current procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess the following flight hour experience:

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land PIC: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbojet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications & Certifications

  • Hold a type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft type.
  • Possess a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Must be available to work on an on-call basis as required by operational needs.
  • Must be able to successfully complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
  • Must have a primary residence within a two-hour drive from KTEB or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement.

Compensation for Solairus crewmembers typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, influenced by factors including geographic location, experience level, aircraft type operated, specific job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
