Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Corporate Flight Attendant to join its operation based at KSWF. This role is ideal for a flexible team player prepared to undertake additional responsibilities to deliver exceptional, round-the-clock service to passengers. A strong culinary background and passion for food are essential requirements, with advanced culinary training being highly preferred. The position involves providing superior personal services to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of aircraft passengers throughout each flight. Key duties include warmly greeting passengers, clearly demonstrating the use of safety equipment, and providing attentive food and beverage service.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides a premium level of service to clients, prioritizing the safety and comfort of all passengers during flight operations.
- Directs and assists passengers during emergency situations.
- Administers basic first aid, CPR, AED, and first aid to passengers requiring medical assistance.
- Secures the cabin according to federal regulations prior to takeoff and landing.
- Reassures passengers during turbulence or other unsettling flight conditions.
- Conducts preflight briefings.
- Ensures necessary supplies such as food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment are onboard and adequate for the trip and passenger count.
- Procures items specifically requested by passengers for their flight.
- Maintains the cleanliness and stock of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment, ensuring the aircraft is always prepared for subsequent flights.
- Conducts regular cabin checks to maximize passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Completes preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Operates onboard audio and video systems.
Qualifications
- Possesses knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Holds current First Aid Training Certification, including CPR and AED.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Specific flight attendant training from recognized providers such as FlightSafety or FACTs is preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory.
- Candidates without formal flight attendant initial training may be considered based on other qualifications but must complete initial training before receiving flight assignments.
- Preference given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the preceding 12 months.
- Must be technologically proficient.
- Must demonstrate flexibility and patience.
- Must possess strong culinary skills with specific culinary training.
- Ability to manage a dynamic schedule, including late-night flights.
- Available to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response time when on standby).
- Requires unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (considering health and visa status).
- Capable of deploying for up to 16 consecutive days.
- Proficiency in operating Cabin Management Systems.
- Proficiency in operating all galley equipment.
- Proficiency in operating all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring divans into beds.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- College degree preferred.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages preferred.
- Experience caring for small children preferred.
Specific Qualifications and Certifications (Physical Requirements)
- Vision: Correctable vision to 20/20 or better with corrective lenses is required. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Must be able to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and utilize electronic devices such as computers, smartphones, and iPads.
- Hearing/Speaking: Must be capable of clear verbal communication. Adequate hearing is necessary for effective communication via phone and in person with clients, crew members, and pilots, including within the aircraft cabin during flight.
- Standing/Walking: Must possess the physical capability and strength to walk and stand without assistance. The role requires the ability to stand for up to 14 hours with limited opportunities to sit and to work extended hours in varied climates.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: Must be able to kneel to load supplies and luggage into the luggage compartment and maneuver comfortably within the confined spaces of the aircraft cabin.
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling/Strength: Must be capable of pushing open and pulling closed the main cabin door (weighing up to 130 pounds). The ability to write, type, operate computers and phones, and prepare/cook and serve food and beverages is required. Must be able to repeatedly lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height.

Compensation for Solairus crew members ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, influenced by factors such as geographic location, experience level, aircraft type/equipment, assigned duties, training history, and specific client account requirements.
