The Opportunity

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global 6000 Captain to join its professional four-pilot flight operation based at Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey. This full-time, non-remote position supports an aircraft averaging approximately 500 flight hours annually. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Global 6000 Captain holds the ultimate responsibility for the safe, prudent, and efficient operation of the aircraft. All duties must be conducted in strict adherence to the policies and procedures established by Solairus Aviation and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

• Ensure the safe operation and airworthiness of the Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft prior to and throughout all phases of flight.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of the aircraft's maintenance status and logbooks.
• Execute meticulous pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
• Thoroughly assess meteorological conditions, route facilities, and all intended and alternate airports prior to dispatch.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew members aboard the aircraft.
• Accurately complete all necessary regulatory and company trip paperwork and documentation in compliance with current procedures.

Minimum Professional Qualifications

Applicants for the Global 6000 Captain position must meet or exceed the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Turbojet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications and Requirements

• The applicant must possess a current Type Rating for the Global 6000 or a comparable large cabin business jet.
• A valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate is required.
• The candidate must be able to work effectively on an on-call basis.
• Successful completion of annual ICAO International procedures training is mandatory.
• A primary residence within a two-hour driving radius of Teterboro Airport (TEB) is required, or the applicant must demonstrate a willingness to relocate immediately.

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation for Solairus crewmembers is highly competitive and is determined by multiple factors, including geographic area, total experience, specific equipment type/aircraft, complexity of job duties, and assigned account requirements. The estimated annual compensation range for this position falls between $50,000 and $500,000.
