Position Overview

Jet Aviation seeks an experienced Captain to command a Global 6000 aircraft in a private aviation environment. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, leading the crew, and ensuring an exceptional experience for clients. This role requires adaptability, precision, leadership, and the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Command all assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems for precise operation and flight plan management.
  • Serve as the In-flight Security Coordinator (ISC), conducting passenger safety briefings.
  • Support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and maintain a secure environment.
  • Record and report aircraft discrepancies.
  • Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork.
  • Represent Jet Aviation professionally, delivering exceptional service.

Required Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • FAA First Class Medical certificate.
  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
  • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command.
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine.
  • 500 hours Turbo-Jet.
  • 500 hours Turbine.
  • 100 hours Night flight time.
  • 75 hours Simulated Instrument time.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
  • Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solving approach.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting.
  • Occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
  • Sharp vision across various ranges and depths.

Work Environment

  • Ability to operate in diverse environments, including maintenance areas and customer spaces.
  • Adaptability to dynamic aircraft operations, including occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and fuel fume exposure.
  • Comfort working in varying weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes.

Compensation and Benefits

An anticipated salary range of $X to $X will be considered. The final salary is dependent on candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
