Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking a professional and dedicated Lead Captain to operate the Global 6000. This role serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights, maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and quality. The Lead Captain is responsible for flight operations, crew leadership, and representing Jet Aviation as a brand ambassador, upholding values of trust, honesty, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain safe and efficient flight operations, including pre-flight/post-flight inspections and weather/route analysis.

Lead and mentor crew members, coordinating schedules and facilitating professional development.

Ensure comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to manage flight plans and operational variables.

Champion a culture of safety through adherence to protocols and collaboration with maintenance teams.

Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and assist in crew recruitment.

Represent the company with professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
Candidate Requirements

Certifications:
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience.

Flight Hours:
3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including:

1,500 hours Pilot in Command
-
1,500 hours Multi-Engine
-
500 hours Turbo-Jet
-
500 hours Turbine
-
100 hours Night
-
75 hours Simulated Instrument

Education:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Legal:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Availability:
Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
