Position Summary

Jet Aviation seeks an experienced Captain for a Global 6000 aircraft in an elite private aviation environment. The Captain will assume full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft, leading a professional crew and ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. Responsibilities include navigating domestic and global routes, adapting to changing conditions, and upholding the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism. What We're Looking For

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate required.
  • FAA First Class Medical required.
  • 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
  • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command.
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine.
  • 500 hours Turbo-Jet.
  • 500 hours Turbine.
  • 100 hours Night.
  • 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.

What You'll Do

  • Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions to guarantee a seamless travel experience.
  • Perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the provision of the twelve five standard security program or private charter standard security program as applicable.
  • Conduct required passenger safety briefings or assign this duty to the second in command.
  • Actively support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation’s commitment to a secure environment.
  • Record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
  • Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures.
  • Represent Jet Aviation, showcasing professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Perform tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
  • Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
  • Operate in a variety of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces.
  • Experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures, including occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes.
  • Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
