Jet Aviation seeks a highly experienced and dedicated Lead Captain to ensure the safe, efficient, and professional operation of flight assignments for the Global 6000 aircraft. This leadership role involves serving as Pilot in Command (PIC), mentoring crew members, and upholding Jet Aviation's commitment to excellence and brand values.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, flight plan filing, and weather/route analysis.
  • Mentor and guide crew members, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate schedules and training.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, conduct passenger briefings, and address aircraft discrepancies with maintenance teams.
  • Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring, and represent Jet Aviation professionally.
  • Serve as a brand representative, showcasing professionalism and dedication to exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • FAA First Class Medical certificate.
  • Minimum of five years of aviation experience.
  • 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time.
  • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command.
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine time.
  • 500 hours Turbo-Jet time.
  • 500 hours Turbine time.
  • 100 hours Night time.
  • 75 hours Simulated Instrument time.
  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.

  • College degree.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, and sitting.

  • Operate in diverse environments, including maintenance areas and customer spaces.
  • Experience dynamic aircraft operations with potential for high noise levels, vibrations, and fuel fumes.
