About the Role

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Global 6000 Captain to join an established operation at the San Jose, CA (KSJC) airport. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
• Conduct all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies, including but not limited to:
  • Thorough review of the aircraft's maintenance status.
  • Execution of comprehensive pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Detailed analysis of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring all flights are conducted in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety for all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis as required.
• Successful completion of annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Must reside within a two-hour drive of KSJC or demonstrate willingness to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation compensates its crewmembers based on current market conditions, considering factors such as geographic location, individual experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, ongoing training, and assigned client accounts. Compensation for crewmembers typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually.
