Executive Jet Management | BD-700 Captain

Executive Jet Management (EJM), a NetJets company, is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command (Captain) for a Bombardier Global 6000 'Vision' aircraft based in Teterboro, NJ. This role involves ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations while delivering an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers.

About the Role

As Pilot in Command for the Global 6000, the Captain will hold ultimate responsibility for all flight operations. This dedicated two-pilot position operates under FAR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, supporting both domestic and international travel. The Captain will lead a team and collaborate with dedicated maintenance and cabin crew to ensure mission readiness and a high standard of passenger service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe and compliant operation of all flights, including crew scheduling and trip assignments.
• Execute comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance tasks.
• Conduct required pre-flight briefings utilizing the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to minimize operational risks.
• Adhere strictly to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate effectively with internal teams.
• Serve as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
• Perform all pre-flight aircraft checks, including verifying maintenance status and recording discrepancies.
• Ensure ground-servicing items such as fueling, oil, and oxygen are monitored and completed per SOPs.
• Deliver passenger briefings, provide superior customer service, and address special passenger requirements.
• Employ Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and prompt communication during all operational phases.
• Enhance the EJM passenger experience, investigate and resolve service issues, and manage conflicts.
• Maintain all required training and recency of experience, comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS), and report safety concerns.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• A minimum of 4–6 years of aviation experience, with corporate/business aviation experience being preferred.
• An FAA type rating for the Global 6000 aircraft is required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Minimum flight time requirements:
  • 3,500 hours total flight time
  • 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL)
  • 2,000 hours pilot-in-command (PIC)
  • 500 hours PIC multi-engine land (PIC MEL)
  • 300 hours instrument
  • 500 hours jet
