Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting a highly qualified Full-Time Global 6000 Captain to join an established operation based at KTEB Teterboro, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member dedicated to achieving excellence in all facets of their performance. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
  • Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
    • Performing meticulous pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Conducting comprehensive checks of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
    • Ensuring all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Prioritizing and ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
    • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with current company procedures.

Pilot Qualifications

  • Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Possession of a current First Class Medical certificate.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis as required.
  • Completion of annual ICAO International Procedures training.
  • Primary residence must be located within a two-hour drive of KTEB, or a willingness to relocate.

Crewmember earnings typically range from $50,000 to $500,000, influenced by factors such as geographic location, professional experience, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and assigned client accounts.
