Corporate Flight Attendant

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly dedicated and adaptable full-time Flight Attendant to join its team at KTEB. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player, committed to delivering exceptional service to passengers at all times. A strong culinary background and a passion for food are essential, with advanced culinary training being a significant advantage.

This role requires providing superior personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort during flight. Responsibilities include welcoming passengers, providing clear safety instructions, and delivering impeccable food and beverage service. The Flight Attendant will also be expected to manage various aspects of cabin operations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an elevated level of service, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout all flights.
  • Direct and assist passengers during emergency situations.
  • Administer basic first aid, including CPR, AED, and general first aid to passengers in need.
  • Secure the aircraft cabin in compliance with federal regulations before departure and arrival.
  • Provide reassurance and support to passengers during turbulence or other unusual circumstances.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight briefings.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other necessary items.
  • Procure items specifically requested by passengers for their flights.
  • Maintain the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking after each flight segment.
  • Perform routine cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
  • Operate audio and video entertainment systems.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Current First Aid Training Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Formal flight attendant training from a recognized provider such as FlightSafety or FACTs is preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal training may be considered, but must attend initial training prior to a flight assignment. Preference will be given to those with recent training within the last 12 months.
  • Proficiency in technology is essential.
  • Must possess flexibility and patience.
  • Strong culinary skills and culinary specific training are required.
  • Ability to manage a variable schedule and work late-night flights.
  • Availability to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response time when on standby).
  • Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, contingent on health and visa status.
  • Ability to deploy for periods up to 16 consecutive days.
  • Experience with the operation of all features of Cabin Management Systems.
  • Experience with the operation of all galley equipment.
  • Experience with all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.
  • Experience with small children is preferred.

Specific Requirements:

  • Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses, with uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20. The ability to read reports, charts, manage paperwork, and use electronic devices is necessary.
  • Must possess clear verbal communication skills and adequate hearing to effectively communicate with clients, coworkers, and pilots, including in-flight conditions.
  • Must be physically capable of walking and standing without assistance and be able to stand for up to 14 hours with limited opportunities to sit. Must be able to work extended hours in varying climate conditions.
  • Must be able to kneel in the luggage compartment to load supplies and luggage and maneuver within the aircraft's tight spaces.
  • Must be able to push/pull open and close the main cabin door (weighing up to 130 pounds), write, type, use technology, and prepare and serve food and beverages. Must be able to lift supplies weighing 25-30 pounds repeatedly from floor level to waist height.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary, ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, based on geographical location, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
