Inflight Training Instructor
Position Overview
The Inflight Training Instructor plays a pivotal role in facilitating the company’s approved Inflight training programs. This position is responsible for ensuring trainees strictly adhere to training guidelines and successfully complete all required materials, contributing directly to the safety and professionalism of the flight attendant team.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitates published and approved training curriculum, including conducting both oral and written examinations for Flight Attainee training.
- Manages and maintains all necessary paperwork and documentation associated with training events.
- Develops and continuously updates training curriculum materials to ensure relevance and compliance.
- Actively participates in internal and external audits conducted by regulatory bodies such as the FAA, TSA, IOSA, and DOD.
- Attends scheduled Instructor standardization meetings and briefings to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
- Must successfully complete Flight Attendant training and maintain qualifications through ongoing company training requirements.
- Participates in annual Flight Attendant recurrent training and Instructor recurrent training to sustain necessary qualifications.
- Embodies and promotes the company’s core values and culture throughout the training environment.
- Provides essential coaching, leadership, direction, motivation, and supervision to trainees.
- Evaluates trainee performance, delivers constructive feedback, implements corrective actions when necessary, and maintains thorough documentation of trainee development.
- Offers recommendations regarding trainee effectiveness and employment suitability.
- Executes other assigned duties and special projects as required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- At least one year of combined experience in aviation and/or education or training.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree or higher.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in public speaking or as an instructor.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Regulatory Requirements
- Ability to successfully pass an FAA-required 10-year work history review, criminal background checks, and fingerprinting.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US passport or a foreign passport.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and capable of international travel.
- Willingness to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, manuals, and governmental regulations.
- Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
- Skill in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of employees and trainees.
- Adept at solving practical problems and handling various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Capable of interpreting diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.
- Must be able to think and react quickly and effectively in all types of emergency situations.

Physical Demands
The role requires the physical ability to perform essential safety and operational functions, including:
- Possessing the physical strength to reach and operate all emergency equipment and exits using necessary movements and applying force up to 70 pounds.
- Capable of lifting objects above shoulders weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Able to push and pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, potentially in conditions with aircraft turbulence.
- Must be able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb, and kneel as needed.
- Clear vision (20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts) is required.
- Clear hearing of verbal communications (in person and over aircraft communication systems with ambient noise) is necessary.
- Ability to sit comfortably in an assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications.
- Must be able to move freely, effectively, and quickly about the aircraft in a confined environment to perform all required functions.
Work Environment and Travel
- Willingness and ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate operational needs.
- Requires travel up to 25% of the time, which includes overnight stays.
