Inflight Training Instructor

Position Summary
The Inflight Training Instructor facilitates the company's approved inflight training programs, ensuring trainees adhere to established guidelines and complete all required materials. This role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual capable of effectively delivering training and maintaining a professional demeanor in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate approved curriculum, including oral and written examinations for Flight Attendants.
- Maintain accurate and timely completion of all training event paperwork.
- Develop and maintain current training curriculum.
- Participate in internal and external audits (FAA, TSA, IOSA, DOD).
- Attend and actively participate in instructor standardization meetings and briefings.
- Maintain Flight Attendant and Instructor qualifications through successful completion of all company-required training and recurrent training.
- Promote and exemplify the company's core values and culture.
- Provide coaching, leadership, and supervision to trainees. Conduct performance appraisals, deliver feedback, implement corrective actions, document development, and provide recommendations regarding trainee effectiveness and employment status.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED; minimum one year of aviation-related experience or equivalent education/training.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- Associate's degree or higher; minimum two years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in public speaking or instructional settings.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to manage interruptions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must maintain a professional appearance, adhering to company standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings while in uniform.
- Successful completion of a 10-year work history review, criminal background check, and fingerprint check as mandated by the FAA.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid US or foreign passport. Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Willingness to submit to and pass FAA and company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
