Flight Attendant

A highly motivated individual is sought to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, adhering strictly to FAA and Inflight guidelines. This role demands a commitment to providing a secure and pleasant onboard experience while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute all assigned cabin duties and regulatory requirements with unwavering attention to passenger well-being, ensuring a secure and comfortable environment.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures and the proper use of all onboard emergency equipment, including the ability to operate emergency exits and aircraft equipment using necessary force, up to 70 pounds.
  • Serve food and beverages to passengers, which involves pushing and pulling carts weighing over 250 pounds.
  • Assist passengers with the stowage of carry-on baggage, which may weigh up to 35 pounds.
  • Maintain a tidy and well-organized cabin environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with crew members to ensure reliable and on-time operations, meeting all report, departure, and minimum turn times.
  • Perform inflight sales and promotional activities as required.
  • Provide support to other Customer Service personnel as necessary with passenger handling and other duties.
  • Maintain punctual and dependable attendance in compliance with company policies.
  • Exhibit a professional image in conduct and appearance, adhering to the company's uniform dress code.
  • Comply with the associate Rules of Conduct as outlined in all applicable manuals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Inflight guides and manuals.
  • Promote the company's core values and culture in all work-related activities.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by at least two years of customer service experience.
  • Must be a minimum of 20 years of age by the first interview date.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability and willingness to serve alcoholic beverages and handle food products, including peanuts, shellfish/seafood, beef, and pork.
  • Ability to work around animals and other allergens.
  • Must adhere to the company's Flight Attendant Style Guide regarding tattoos and piercings. Specifically, tattoos on the head, face, neck, chest, hands, or fingers are prohibited. Visible tattoos on other areas must meet size guidelines or be fully covered. Multiple visible piercings are not permitted while in uniform.
  • Possession of a wingspan of 55 inches or greater to safely operate all necessary equipment.
  • Must be able to sit in the flight attendant jump seat with the safety belt and shoulder harness fastened without any modifications. The lap belt measurement is 50 inches when fastened and the shoulder harness measurement is 40 inches when fastened.
  • Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from management, crew, passengers, and the general public.
  • Ability to speak and be understood in English, including shouted commands in emergencies.
  • Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical strength to operate all emergency equipment and exits and lift up to 35 pounds, push and pull carts weighing over 250 pounds and the ability to stand and move freely in a confined environment for extended periods of time.
  • Vision correctable to 20 feet or more, and the ability to hear verbal communication clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional years of customer service experience, especially within an aviation setting.
  • Previous experience as a Flight Attendant.

Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, interact professionally with passengers and crew during stressful times, and accommodate customer's needs, including special needs and disabilities. A flexible schedule is necessary, including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Travel is expected up to 100% of the time and candidates must be willing to relocate based on operational needs.
