Position Purpose
The Flight Attendant ensures the safety and comfort of passengers in accordance with FAA and Inflight guidelines.
Essential Duties
-
Perform all regulatory and assigned cabin duties, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.

Maintain thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment; operate exits and equipment using force up to 70 pounds.

Provide food and beverage service, requiring the ability to push and pull carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds.

Assist passengers with stowing carry-on baggage weighing up to 35 pounds.

Maintain a neat, orderly cabin and contribute to on-time operations.

Execute inflight sales, promotional duties, and support customer service staff with passenger handling.

Maintain reliable attendance, professional appearance, and adherence to company uniform and conduct policies.

Keep all inflight guides and manuals current and foster company core values.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education and Experience
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of two years of customer service experience.

Must be at least 20 years of age by the date of the first interview.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Additional years of customer service experience, particularly in an aviation environment.

Previous professional Flight Attendant experience.
Additional Requirements

Polished interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.

Willingness to serve alcoholic beverages and handle items including peanuts, shellfish, beef, and pork.

Ability to work with animals and around common allergens.

Compliance with the company style guide: Tattoos are prohibited on the face, neck, and hands; tattoos in other areas must not be visible while in uniform. Multiple visible piercings are not permitted.

Wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater to reach and operate aircraft equipment.

Ability to sit in the jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications (Lap belt: 50 inches; Shoulder harness: 40 inches).
Language and Reasoning

Ability to interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, and diverse instructions (written, oral, or diagram).

Proficiency in English, including the ability to provide clear verbal commands during emergency situations.

Capacity to remain calm and react quickly during emergencies (e.g., medical, fire, security, or turbulence).

Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, time-sensitive, and evolving environment.
Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, and kneel for extended periods.

Capacity to lift objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds and push/pull carts exceeding 250 pounds.

Ability to operate emergency equipment using up to 70 pounds of force.

Visual acuity (20 feet or more with corrective lenses) and clear hearing of verbal communications over ambient aircraft noise.

Ability to perform all duties freely and quickly within confined aircraft spaces.
Work Environment and Travel

Must be able to work in a culturally diverse atmosphere and interact professionally under stressful conditions.

Willingness to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Travel required up to 100% of the time.

Willingness to relocate based on operational needs.
