Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service while managing a wide range of passenger needs and requests.
- Act decisively and professionally in both emergency and non-emergency situations, prioritizing passenger safety and well-being.
- Maintain composure and adaptability while working independently within the dynamic environment of the aircraft cabin.
- Adhere to and execute established safety protocols to ensure a secure and comfortable flight experience for all passengers.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to diverse climates, locations, and shift schedules.
Qualifications:
- Height between 5'2" and 6'0".
- Ability and willingness to work up to 14 hours per day.
- Possess a valid passport allowing unrestricted travel to and from the United States.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English.
- Exhibit a professional appearance aligned with company standards, including restrictions on visible tattoos, piercings, and unnatural hair colors while in uniform.
- Physically capable of maneuvering comfortably within the aircraft cabin, including navigating the aisle, accessing over-wing exits, and sitting in the designated jump seat without modifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a customer-facing role.
Work Environment:
This position requires adaptability to the unique demands of the aviation industry. Successful candidates must be comfortable with:
- Working in a variety of environments, including airport ramps, warehouses, and within the aircraft cabin, often subject to changing weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
- A flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, night shifts, and irregular hours.
- Extensive travel with potential for consecutive overnights away from the base location.
Physical Demands:
This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform essential job functions, including:
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, and climbing stairs.
- Extended periods of standing and verbal communication.
- Lifting and handling objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Maneuvering catering carts exceeding 150 pounds.
- Providing assistance to passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs.
Training:
Upon hire, successful candidates will participate in a comprehensive, paid 35-day ground school training program in Charlotte, NC. This five-week program requires residency at the designated hotel. Following ground school, up to two weeks of on-the-job training will be provided. Completion of all training phases is mandatory.
